Enemies of Freedom (Including Kiwis) Converge On Cuba

From Cuba's Prensa Latina

Havana, Apr 23 (Prensa Latina) Nearly 1,496 representatives from 58 countries are expected to attend the May Day parades in Cuba. According to a note from the Workers' Central Union of Cuba (CTC), published by Granma newspaper, about 777 will come representing 200 union organizations, and 719 from solidarity movements.

Also on the list are union and social leaders from 25 North American, Latin American and Caribbean nations, as well as 19 European countries and 560 participants, five Asian nations with 100, seven from Africa and Middle East with 76, and two from Oceania, 68 Australians and four from New Zealand.

Among the most numerous delegations confirmed so far are those from France with 178 participants, Uruguay with 163, United Kingdom 112, Canada 102, Japan 87, Brazil 69, Australia 68, Belgium 53, and Argentina 50.

The party of the working class coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Cuban revolution and the 70th anniversary of the creation of the CTC.

The significant Australia/NZ contingent does not bode well for this part of the world.

They might discuss things like getting more medical aid and doctors to poor countries in our region, such as Timor Leste and the Solomon Islands.

Anti-Communists of the World unite to stop this outrage!

From the hapless comments it seems that it's quite alright for unions to aling themselves with an obvious totalitarian state so long as it's a Communist state.
