Arizona is not a laughings...Trowbridge is mistaken. Arizona is not a laughingstock to the rest of us; it's an example we wish we could emulate. In my state (Washington) taxpayer money supports in-state college tuition rates for the children of illegal workers, as well as premium pay for bilingual department secretaries at state colleges. We need some Arizona attitude up here in the Northwest!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18947592.post-48484736800604866462010-05-05T00:58:00.797+12:002010-05-05T00:58:00.797+12:00Lee is spot on.Lee is spot on.Dr. Duncan Druhlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00522239815512178169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18947592.post-57999236861940119932010-05-04T19:45:52.965+12:002010-05-04T19:45:52.965+12:00THIS IS NOT A NEW LAW! It's an ancient law that is FINALLY being Enforced out of dire need to salvage the AZ economy and protect the citizens from OUTLAWS OTHERWISE KNOWN AS ILLEGAL ALIENS who do not respect the laws of this land.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18947592.post-50781294951099818082010-05-04T19:41:15.657+12:002010-05-04T19:41:15.657+12:00Wha? She needs to find immigrants because the people she is defending are ILLEGAL ALIENS.
ILLEGAL IS THE LAW AND NOT A RACE. Let them live off of her 'dime' and not ours. She can pay their way. I do not wants to pay any ILLEGAL ALIENS way.
And the Mexican president is behind all this because ILLEGAL ALIENS send all their 'under the table money' gross up to 125% in value, back to Mexico. So how does this benefit America? NOT.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18947592.post-19920319786229177892010-05-04T17:30:27.778+12:002010-05-04T17:30:27.778+12:00I just found a quote from Saul Alinsky that perfec...I just found a quote from Saul Alinsky that perfectly explains why the left is so upset about this new law:

"The ninth rule of the ethics of means and ends is that any effective means is automatically judged by the opposition as being unethical."

It should also be remembered that "racism" and other such gratuitous accusations are how the left deals with undeniable truths. If they cannot find legitimate fault with something you are doing, they drag out the "racism" canard. It is effective because refuting it requires that you prove a negative, that you are not a racist, and it is logically impossible to prove a negative. No matter what someone says or does they still MIGHT be a racist. So the left throws this out whenever they get stuck and watch their opponents twist themselves into knots trying to prove the accusation false.WhatWasLosthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01091433065388922660noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18947592.post-2149357272144379942010-05-04T16:40:49.947+12:002010-05-04T16:40:49.947+12:00I live in Arizona and what I find interesting is t...I live in Arizona and what I find interesting is that they had to bus protesters in from California to protest at our Capitol building.

The majority of the people here are in favor of this bill and when it is all said and done, other states will applaud us and follow suit I am sure.

The racist issues are astounding to me. The deal is - as soon as a person is stopped and can't speak English, that is the first clue they might be illegal. It doesn't matter what color they are. If you are a citizen of the USA, you must take the citizenship test in English. I know of someone who could not pass the test because they could not speak the language fluently enough.Shelleynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18947592.post-56393117306610390982010-05-03T05:20:29.574+12:002010-05-03T05:20:29.574+12:00I left a comment - I don't have your back and ...I left a comment - I don't have your back and that we don't want socialism here. Go to Mexico and see how fairly an illegal is treated. Plus they don't respect the law or our property as they through bottles at the police and painted swastikas with refried beans on the capital.
AZ is happy that we will have less people here due to illegals leaving, and we will have less tourist traffic for those that boycott!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18947592.post-51463643371733616382010-05-02T01:30:38.064+12:002010-05-02T01:30:38.064+12:00Confusing Libertarian with Anarchist sentiment may...Confusing Libertarian with Anarchist sentiment may be common, but the former merely believes in less and non-controlling government, perhaps more local, while the latter denies the validity of any central government and would leave NZ to the mercies of the Argentineans, let's say; hehehe

The Arizona Law is merely the Federal US Law translated into local jurisdiction language. Note that the showing of papers issue was actually enacted into FEDERAL law by FDR in 1940, so it is no AZ phenomenon, but begun in wartime by the classic statist. But the progressives would rather you not know the facts so that they can shout about something, i.e., tangentially prevaricate, as if their direct lies were something new.Dr. Duncan Druhlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00522239815512178169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18947592.post-41898244950436743212010-05-01T21:54:16.043+12:002010-05-01T21:54:16.043+12:00Why on earth would a libertarian oppose perfectly ...Why on earth would a libertarian oppose perfectly reasonable immigration laws Cameron?Trevor Loudonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17040453691836232676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18947592.post-42410384519121846332010-05-01T21:50:34.199+12:002010-05-01T21:50:34.199+12:00I thought true libertarians would oppose this auth...I thought true libertarians would oppose this authoritarian police state law.Cameronnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18947592.post-89175925043079378272010-04-30T01:51:05.374+12:002010-04-30T01:51:05.374+12:00Hey that's a informative blog. It is sort of like having a Dom DeLouise character for your sheriff, so you have to enforce the law yourself if you don't want to be shot by the runaway bandits coming across the border.

However, to re-elect the limp wrists in Congress, the progressives need all the illiterate English support they can find. I suggest they try the High Schools - the progressives have been very successful in making those institutions turn out illiterates.Dr. Duncan Druhlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00522239815512178169noreply@blogger.com
