Where Do They Get This Crap?
Someone's put an article on me on Wikipedia.
Its reasonably fair except for a minor inaccuracy (Z.A.P. has students, not members) and one piece of complete bullshit.
He (Loudon)has been involved in right-wing politics in Christchurch for many years, having previously served as the New Zealand representative of the World Anti Communist League.
I am only 48 and as far as I know, do not suffer from Alzheimer's. I don't remember having had any contact with the World Anti Communist League, let alone being "NZ representative".
I'm guessing that whoever wrote that rubbish reads this Blog. So kindly delete the WACL allegations ASAP, to save me the trouble of doing so.
If you have evidence to support your claim, email it to me and I will post it on this Blog. Fair enough?

Seems the page was created by one Byron Clark from Papanui. His profile says this about him: "He is a volunteer organiser for the Unite Union and is active in the Workers Party of New Zealand." It looks like he is wearing a Che t-shirt.
However, it was a different user, a Stuart Young from Pt Chev in Auckland who added the world anti-communist league line.
I did create the article but didn't write anything about ZAP or the the World Anti-Communist league, that was added later by a user going by the username of "Drstuey", if you click on the "History" link on the Wikipedia page you can see the page I created (or click here), and the edits I have made since. I used a Scoop article on the ACT election results, New Zeal, and an article on Stuff by Maggie Tait. I cited all my sources.
I don't agree with your personal politics Trevor but don't believe in making things up, I'm also comitted to Wikipedias neutral point of view policy.
From the looks of things Drstuey was using comments on Anarchia as a reference, I wouldn't consider comments on a blog a reliable source and think Drstuey shouldn't have used them as such. I see the article has been corrected now. The beauty of Wikipedia is that constant editing keeps it correct and neutral.
Oh and Anonymous, it is a Che T-shirt, a tradgic steriotype I know, but the most recent photo I had.
Thanks for that anon and Byron.
I've got no problem with what you wrote Byron. I checked Asher's Anarchia and see he has made the WACL claims. Maybe he'll do the decent thing and correct it. Maybe the Pope will convert to Islam.
Integrity is a valuable thing Byron. While I don't agree with your world view Byron, I don't doubt your sincerity and commitment to your ideals.
I will be fisking the piece you did on communism a couple of posts back.
You will of course have the right of reply.
OMG someone got a few facts wrong about trevour loudon, its not like he ever does that about others....
Which facts have I got wrong about others anon? I can think of one time I said Paul Hopkinson was convicted of an offence when he was acquitted. How about some specifics anon, so I can correct them.
Go change it yourself is it is wrong, thats the whole point of a Wiki.
Some may think that you would rather make cheap points than have an accurate record.
