Eat This, Andrew Falloon.

My old mate Andrew "Fluoride" Falloon and I have been having a hit count contest.

Andrew started blogging a few months before me and had a good lead built up.

I've been slowly but surely catching up.

Andrew beat me to 65,000 by about 200 hits, but I just checked now and I'm ahead, for the first time at 65,289 to 65,282.

Just goes to prove that my humble blend of urban liberalism, erudite intellectualism, kindly tolerance, McCarthyism and redneck values, resonates with the masses more than Andrew's mix of classic liberalism, pop culture, sophisticated political analysis and youthful exuberance.

I really enjoy your blog, Trevor. While I may disagree with many things you write I still respect your style. It nice to be able to hold a dissenting view and not be called names or banned (sirhumphreys take note). Coming to this blog for an argument is like walking into a nice lounge holding a drink, while going to the aforementioned site (which I don't do anymore) is like jumping into a shark tank.

You were probably banned from Sir Humps because you were being abusive. You gotta remember that a blog is private property, not public domain.

That's incorrect. I have never been abusive on a blog. They abuse commenters quite a lot themselves, but they don't seem to let it go bothways.

Thanks Clint-reckon I should take on david Farrar next.

Thanks Chris.

While I believe in telling it like it is, there is no reason to be abusive.

I do break my own rule from time to time, so I am quite tolerant with the odd troll that pops up occasionally.

I welcome debate from across the spectrum, because it constantly forces me to re-evalute my own ideas.

I hope I can keep up the level of debate in the future.

Trev, the only reason you get lots more hits than other right wing blogs is that all the lefties read your one for a laugh its very entertaining, and occasionally even factual. can I make a suggestion. do profiles of more anarchists. reading about Keith Locke and the SPA is getting a bit dull.

Gutted anon.

I seldom research anarchists, because on the threat scale, they just don't rate.

Unlike the socialists, they tend to lack the discipline and the cohesion that socialists have.

They also don't have access to trade union and/or foreign cash and backing like some socialists have.

The anarchists might burgle the odd chicken farm, but they're hardly a threat to national security.
