China Cuddle's Castro
If China is evolving towards capitalism and democracy, why is she busily strengthening ties with Castro?
From La Prensa Latina
Havana, Apr 21 Cuban President Fidel Castro and First Vice President Raul Castro welcomed separately a Chinese delegation led by Wu Guanzheng, member of the Permanent Political Bureau Committee of that country s Communist Party Central Committee.
According to an official note, the Cuban statesman met for an hour with Wu, who gave him a letter from President Hu Jintao, an expression of the excellent links between the two Communist Parties and governments.
After the meeting, the Chinese delegation also held talks with Raul Castro, to analyze national and international issues for Havana and Beijing.
