Marxist Mass Manipulation
Marxist-Leninists are nothing if not flexible and will often manipulate both sides of a fight to achieve maximum advantage.
The 14 day old South African public service strike is, I believe, a good example of this.
The strike has pit the trade union left directly against the government of president Thabo Mbeki. Large numbers of nurses have been sacked by the government and unionised police and soldiers have joined the strikers.
Leading the strike is Willy Madisha, president of the Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) and member of the Central Committee of the South African Communist Party. Madisha wants a 12% pay rise for public servants.
Leading resistance to the strike and offering a measly 6% is Public Service Minister Geraldine Fraser-Moleketi who coincidentally is also a member of the Central Committee of the South African Communist Party.
The Marxist-Leninists win both ways. Give the SACP unions a small victory, while the SACP controlled government appears hardline and tough to moderate and conservative South Africans.
Clever, eh?

No surprise about South Africa being influenced with far left ideologies such as Communism. Even it's intelligence network have long-time affiliates of the South African Communist Party controlling the intel network.
The South African intelligence network now is under Soviet-style influence and has long been affiliated with Soviet-trained Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), along with now Hamas openly involved.
It's also a no surprise these folks have often desire to take command of various trade unions across the globe either.
