Five to six thousand people marched down Queen Street today in protest against Labour's Electoral Finance Bill.

Ironically, this protest will probably serve to further convince the powers that be of the need for this bill.
What a sight!!
I was there, it looked like a Vogue parade, but from a Rest Home.All whites, old andrich and from the North Shore.And even Comrade Hydes looked out of place with his shining suit.
Not the cross section from the multicultural, multicoloured and multiclass Auckland. A LOST OPPORTUNITY indeed!!
Shows us who cares about democracy ;)
