New Zealand Parliament Speaker Margaret Wislon met here on Thursday with Yan Junqi, vice chairwoman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC) to exchanged views on bilateral issues.
Yan said the Chinese government attaches importance to further developing bilateral ties and is ready to conduct dialogue, strengthen cooperation with New Zealand.

Well, if you want the country run on behalf of business interests, you're going to get a Free Trade Agreement with China. Did you imagine business was going to forgoe the chance to snuggle up with state capitalism?
