Protesters looted a Foot Locker store and ransacked a jewelry store. The windows of a bank were smashed, fires were set fires in several trash bins, and a small incendiary device was detonated near a police station but caused no damage.

Graffiti on one building declared, "Oakland is our amusement park tonight!" Cleaning crews began sweeping up broken glass and debris early Friday.
In response to the violence, Abel Habtegeorgis, spokesman for the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, said the community needs to focus on changing the system.
"We want to address the system that recruited and trained Johannes Mehserle, that's the fight we need to continue on," he said. "We want to see as much effort and energy as police put into preparing for a riot, put into putting the community onboard and engaging in forums and workshops."
The Ella Baker Center for Human Rights was founded by former Obama Green Jobs Czar and Bay area communist and police baiter Van Jones.
Jones' founding partner in the Center was Bay Area lawyer and Copwatch founder Diana Frappier, believed to be the daughter of Van Jones supporters and former Weather Underground terrorist organization associates Jon Frappier and Nancy Frappier.

Why is it that you don't see others reacting in this violent manner with regard to jury decisions?
Is this a demonstration of the mentality of the individual who was accidentally killed?
As someone who uses public transportation, I often question why large groups of young restless individuals are hanging around the transit stations...were they going to a ball game??? Or were they just hanging out waiting for a chance to act in the manner of the individuals we have been witnessing the past few days???
Send the ILLEGALS back to their home countries so these young people could lead a more purposeful life...you know, like having a job to fill the hours of their days rather than hanging around transit stations or rioting!
I am sick of RACISM!!! What I want is an end to ALL HYPHENATED AMERICANS!!!!
And MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL, FOR ALL AMERICANS TO BEGIN TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR OWN ACTIONS...TO REALIZE THAT THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES TO THOSE ACTIONS...BOTH GOOD AND BAD!!!!
