Why is it important that a former Maoist militant, Roz Pelles, was a leading organizer of last Saturday's communist infiltrated anti Tea Party One Nation Rally in Washington DC?
In late 1979, hard core Maoists from the Communist Workers Party in North Carolina physically attacked local members of the Ku Klux Klan at a Klan film showing. I wrote about this in detail in my last post on this subject, but below is a summary.
The communists followed up by organizing a November 3 "Death to the Klan" rally, and publicly challenged the Klansmen to show up.
When a convoy of cars full of Klansmen and American Nazis did turn up, the Communists attacked their cars and according to the testimony of one witness, shot at the Klansmen.
The Communists unfortunately didn't realize just how crazy the Klansmen could be. The resulting gun battle left 5 dead and 10 wounded C.W.P. supporters.
Incredibly, despite the whole battle being filmed by local news media, not one assailant on either side was ever convicted.
Roz Pelles and her husband Don Pelles, both C.W.P. members, were actively involved in the Death to the Klan rally that led to what became known as the "Greeensboro Massacre".
It is no secret that elements of the US left would love to provoke violence by the "Tea Party" in order to discredit the movement.
Leftist publications regularly compare the Tea Party movement to the Klan and continually accuse the movement of racism.
Tim Wheeler writing in the Communist Party USA's newspaper, People's Weekly World quotes Roz Pelles' AFL-CIO boss Richard Trumka speaking at the One Nation Rally, "debunking the image of a 'nation full of hate' projected by Fox News, the Tea Partiers and Glenn Beck" - who, asserts Wheeler, "staged a virtually all-white hate rally here August 28."
Why was a woman, once part of a violent communist group that deliberately provoked violence on the streets of Greensboro, appointed to organize a major anti-Tea Party rally?
The Tea Party is a patriotic, non-racist movement which supports the U.S. Constitution, small government and the free enterprise system.
The Klan and the Nazis were and are racist, socialists thugs, with nothing to offer American society.
If any of them have succeeded in infiltrating the Tea Party movement they should be expelled immediately.
If the US "progressive" movement thinks its acceptable to let Roz Pelles assume a leading role in the anti-Tea Party movement, what else do they think is OK?
The Tea Party movement needs to exercise the utmost restraint and be vigilant against possible infiltration by extremists or provocateurs.
The Tea Party must do everything possible to deny extremist elements of the U.S. left their dearest wish - violence on the streets of America.

Speaking of an American Political Rally, please I beg of you Trevor - please tell-me there is going to be another Tea Party Rally soon?
Who cares if those Tea Baggers numbers are smaller than the One Nation Rally and the fact those socialists can actually spell, I miss guffawing at them good old’ guys and gals and their hate-filled rhetoric.
I want more of those non-extremist, non-racist signs like…
“Thank You Fox News for keeping us infromed”
“The American Tax Payers are The Jews for Obamas Ovens”
“Obama loves baby-killing”
“Washington Hipocracy!”
“No Tax Dollars to support Lesbianism”
“We came unarmed this time”
“Obamas Plan is White Slavery”
“Don’t Tax me Bro”
“Congress = Slave Owner = Tax Payer = Niggar”
“Honk for English”
“No Amnety”
"Obama -- What you talkin about Willis! Spend my money?"
“Sieg Heil Herr Obama”
“Show us your Birth Certifiet”
“Trade Obama back to Kenya”
The only person who needs to remain vigilant amongst those at a Tea Party rally is the rare individual who is literate.
By-standers are laughing too much to be interested in violence.
Have a great weekend.
Paul.
Thank you for your expose' on this Trevor. Also check out this video regarding the Greensboro Massacre that includes the revelation of the CIA's involvement, by former CIA Agent John Stockwell called The Greensboro Massacre and Exposing the Covert Operations of the CIA

I remember watching a doc about this on one of the cable channels. What struck me was how this group was willing to sacrifice it's own members for sympathy to their cause. i have no doubt some communist trash is planning the same thing. What worries me is that the hardcore left has in some ways turned on the same man they supported ( Sotero ). The left loves martyrs and who would be the best martyr for their cause and give them sympathy in the media and " justify" the progressive cause ? - Sotero would martyred. As much as I disagree with Barry and his politcal views I want to see him flying back home after the 2012 election. I just have a bad feeling because one can understand a political party trashing another but the left and the media have really tried to demonize anyone opposed to them much more in my opinion in last couple of years than in the past.
You can i think really see the desperation on their side much more as well. I would not put it past the machinery to make a big event happen because to them the ends justifies the means.
This event was a battle between two evils, the KKK and the Communists, but it is still tragic. Children were put in harms way, people were murdered and no one went to jail. The communists formed a Truth and Reconcilliation Commission to investigate the matter and have a website with reports and info, including their commissioners and their biographies. The commission is the first of it's kind in the U.S.A. and was fashioned after the one Nelson Mandela created in South Africa after the arpatheid. I wonder what Eric Holder would do today in a situation like this?
Laurie.
There is a book published in 2008by one of the survivors of the massacre Lisa Magarrell called, Learning from Greensboro: Truth and Reconciliation in the United States (Pennsylvania Studies in Human Rights). I saw some copies listed on amazon.com. What is interesting is that Ms. Magarrell and Eric Holder both received their juris doctorates at Columbia University and Magarrell is the Director of the U.S. Accountability Project, investigating abuse of detainees, alongside DOJ. Holder also was working in beginning of his career at the DOJ back in 1979. Have they ever spoken about this incident together? Has she ever brought up the possibility of a new investigation? Lots of questions here.
According to KeyWiki, Roz & husband Don Pelles now live in Silver Springs, MD where he is a Hypnotherapist. A script of his recounting of the Greensboro Massacre is posted on the website.

Hey Canterbury,
let's break it down, pick one of the "signs" you have listed and explain exactly why it is "hate-filled rhetoric".
I don't see any "hate-filled rhetoric" in any of these signs...
so pick one and enlighten us...
Hey silent-Canterbury-with-no-response, you'll be thrilled to see a great post I found with SIGNS comparing T.E.A. party crowds VS anti-Bush leftist crowds:
http://hereticscrusade.com/2010/10/how-to-put-down-vicious-haters-with-hatred/
Take a look and tell me WHICH group's signs have the ACTUAL "hate filled rhetoric"...
I know it might hurt to learn something, but have a nice day anyway
