Unions Oppose Lyttelton Deal

Just caught the tail end of a Radio NZ news bulletin. Apparently Lyttelton port unions are opposing the partial sale of the port company to Hutchison-Whampoa on the grounds that it would give "foreigners" control of the port.

I don't worry about "foreigners", only about "foreigners" linked to enemy regimes, intent on buying our strategic assets.

I'm not pro union either, but in this case I wish them the best of luck.
