On The Subject of Hatred

An Israeli friend sent me these. I am told they were taken at a peaceful Muslim march in London last week. I believe the photos to be genuine. I'm not so sure about the commentary.

Keith Locke has assured me that the marcher doesn't really mean this and even if he does he has a right to express his views in a democratic society.

Keith Locke tells me these men are not really threatening and even if they are they are probably Israeli provocateurs.

Keith Locke is pleased that women are taking a more prominent role in Muslim society.

Keith Locke wants to extend friendship and solidarity to these obviously oppressed and alienated Muslim brothers.

Keith Locke says that Muslims don't understand freedom because the are oppressed by the US and Israel. We need to be more accepting of their different cultural outlook.

Keith Locke assures me that "behead" is Arabic for "forgive"..

Keith Locke is appalled that a peaceful demonstration like this was harassed by the police. He bets the cop is waiting for the photographer to leave so he can use his Taser on the poor woman

Whoops Apparently i've been fooled here and these photos were taken at demos after the Danish cartoons incident. Sorry about that. I think they're still worth re-visiting though.

Thanks Mike. I was a little dubious about that. My friend is genuine, but maybe his contact wasn'nt being so honest.

Doesn't alter their message though.

What can we conclude? A couple of Cartoons in a newspaper in Denmark gets a lot more muslims upset than a few dead kids in Qana.

They're used to their kids being killed by Israeli rockets, Berend. It has been happening for a very long time. You sound like a loon when you brush off what happened there by saying "a few dead kids". You don't think very highly of people not the same skin colour/religion as yourself? Is that it?

I think Berend was being a little sarcastic anon.

Making a wee point about radical Islam's callousness towards death in the name of their cause, I think he was.

Oh. I hope you are right, Trevor, because if he wasn't he may be in need of professional help.
