Two Communists To Sovietise Venezuela
From Canadian Blog Once Upon a Time in the West
There are at least two members of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) who hold important posts in the Chavez regime: Roberto Hernandez, Second Vice President of the National Assembly; and David Velasquez, Venezuela's new Minister of Popular Participation and Social Development.
Hernandez is a member of the Presidential Commission that will rewrite the Venezuelan constitution along socialist lines. The 28-year-old Velasquez will coordinate the expansion of local workers' councils ("soviets" in the Russian) throughout the country.
