Why Do The Communists Back Barack?
I'm getting a bit worried about Democratic US presidential hopeful, Barack Obama.
First a senior US communist, Gerald Horne, writes an article in the CPUSA's "Political Affairs" explaining that Obama's childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis was a member of the Communist Party.
Now it turns out that the Communist Party USA campaigned to elect Obama to the US Senate in 2004.
What does the CPUSA know about Barack Obama that the rest of America doesn't?

Activists from Illinois were immersed in the campaign to elect Barak Obama to the U.S. Senate. Obama won a landslide victory in the March 16 Democratic primary. If Obama wins in November, he would be only the third African American senator since Reconstruction.
“This was a historic victory. It was a victory for political independence and grassroots, coalition, and issue oriented politics over the machine and money,” said John Bachtell, Illinois CP district organizer.

Communists also seem to like John Edwards too besides Obama.
If the KKK endorsed a Republican candidate, would you then think you couldn't vote for the Republican?
Being endorsed by someone is not an indication they are the same thing.
That's true STC, but the CP didn't just endorse Barack, they actively campaigned for him.
Despite its big influence the CPUSA has a small membership. They only campaign in races that are strategically or ideologically important.
Why would they campaign for Barack?
While Obama's leftist credentials are well known in some circles, the CPUSA connection adds an interesting new dimension.
Hey STC, how about the likes of KKK Robert Byrd? You know the Democratic Senator who said the "n" word and also never relinquished his membership in the KKK?
Let's not forget all those racist Black Panthers in the Democratic Party or the likes of Cynthia McKinney who is described to be a black woman verison of David Duke.
lol. I think that most Democratic candidates are useless, the only one with a shred of credibility is Mike Gravel. I want Ron Paul to win the Republican nomination, then utterly destroy Hilary or Obama in the debates. It'd be great televison.
Gravel inspite of his far left leanings also supports English only, but the ones on the far left would demonize anyone on the Right such as Tom Tancredo who promotes similar leanings to be "racist".
Does that same thing fly against Gravel's support for English only the way it does with Tancredo?
Me, I'm so worried about the baggage retrieval System they've got at Heathrow.

You posted "First a senior US communist, Gerald Horne, writes an article in the CPUSA's "Political Affairs" explaining that Obama's childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis was a member of the Communist Party."
That is false. I have carefully read the referenced article. Nowhere does it state the Davis was Obama's "mentor" nor a member of the Communist Party. It described Davis as "certainly in the orbit of the CP – if not a member."
Why the disinformation? Are you part of Kincaid's "Ministry of Truth"?
