Trotskyists/George Galloway Want to Lull You to Sleep

Only 12 sleeps to go. The Trotskyists must be getting sooooo... excited. Socialist Worker and their front group RAM must be like little elves on P-plastering Auckland with posters advertising their idol, "Gorgeous George".

RAM Residents Action Movement

Right-wing Aussie preachers 'stir up racist bigotry' in NZ

Voices of Peace meetings in Auckland on 27-28 July, to be addressed by left-wing British MP George Galloway, will counter the sudden rise of organised Islamophobia in New Zealand. The meetings are being organised by RAM, the Residents Action Movement.

"A prime catalyst for the Voices of Peace meetings is the Mosques & Miracles tour being organised in New Zealand around the same time to spread the message of Islamophobia," said RAM organiser Grant Morgan. "The Mosques & Miracles tour has been inspired by the 400-page book of the same name written by Australian right-wing Baptist pastor Stuart Robinson."

"Mr Robinson's 'Mosques & Miracles' book calls for the 'mother of all 'spiritual wars' to be fought against 'evil' Islam, which represents the 'anti-Christ' and is 'on the march' to destroy our liberties and freedoms by waging war on all non-Muslims until they 'submit' or are enslaved or killed," said Grant Morgan. "Mr Robinson will also be one of the keynote speakers at the Mosques & Miracles conferences. He will be joined by a group of other extreme right evangelical Christian preachers from Australia."

"By shaping their New Zealand conferences around Mr Robinson's Islamophobic book, the Mosques & Miracles ideologues from Australia will be stirring up racist bigotry against other human beings simply because they follow a different faith and often originate from a different part of the planet."

"RAM asks: Why are the Mosques & Miralces meetings closed to the public, except for one short session? If their message was wholesome, why would they try to hide it from scrutiny by the public and the media? Are they attempting to secretly recruit an Islamophobic cadre here in New Zealand as a necessary first step to building a political movement against Muslim immigrants?"

"The vast majority of New Zealanders reject their sectarian message of division and hate between communities in this country. That is why RAM is organising the positive alternative of Voices of Peace. We are aiming for broad unity around the values of social inclusion and equal rights for every religious believer and non-believer
," said Grant Morgan.

"Our call will be amplified by having George Galloway on our Voices of Peace platform. Mr Galloway, a British MP who is world famous as an advocate of social justice and world peace, will be showing how the roots of Islamophobia are to be found in the US war in Iraq."

Socialist Worker is allied to the British Socialist Workers Party. They are both members of an alliance of Trotskyist parties known as the International Socialist Tendency.

Member parties of IST the are allied to the ultra radical Muslim Brotherhood and are strong advocates of the Marxist/Muslim alliance.

Check out this post on Socialist Worker member Joe Carolan and his ideas on uniting Marxism and Islam against capitalism.

Socialist Worker on its own is a minor annoyance.

As part of an international Trotskyist organisation, allied to some of the most militant Muslim activists on the planet, it becomes a significant security risk.

As Mr Galloway himself has said, everything he said about what would happen in Iraq did happen, and everything the neo-cons said turned out to be wrong. You have to give the guy some credit, he was right on the money.

I wonder why can't Galloway explain himself of a photo he took with Fidel Castro giving him a big bear hug? Or perhaps lining up with Soviet Russia during the Cold War?

He's not evil. George Galloway has never killed anyone, unlike the policies of the current American and British administrations. That's inarguable.

Do you care about Galloway siding with Hezbollah during the Israeli-Lebanon War where Hezbollah and other terrorists kidnapped and killed Israeli soldiers?

Do you care that Galloway aligns himself with so-called Muslim groups in Britain that justify suicide bombers targeting Israeli Jews? How about Galloway being involved with the Oil for Food Program and being friendly toward Saddam Hussein when he was living?

If you are upset that someone was friendly toward Saddam Hussein while he was living then you should be catatonic with rage that Western governments sold him weapons and chemical agents! But...probably not.

Trev,

I'd hardly say that you can so hastily, reflexively, despatch Gorgeous's warnings (right on the money as Anonymous above says)....to the "Yeah, OK, he's right...but so what?" bin.

That is a basic failure of balanced judgment Trevor. Like - "No, no, no matter what, he's a leftie - I'll never give him a due !" Bit childish there Trev. I mean, I regulary express my felicity for Donald Rumsfeld !

This "Yeah, OK, he's right so what ?" thing....it's already eaten up more American lives than were cruelly snuffed out in 9/11 - by "The Enemy" for Christ's Sake. That's to say nothing of the lives of several hundred thousand (of course) relatively less important Iraqis !

And The Chickenhawk spends $US1.5 billion per day....per day !.... doing God's work !!!

And touches the whole world - badly, negatively. And this is merely "Yeah....so what?" stuff ?

He was right - your man was/is wrong. And still you support That Chickenhawk, you Trev, cleverly and quietly ....which is disingenuous actually....and Mah My Mate....well, "vociferously" understates it.

Is there anything in that picture that I'm required to respect ? Anyway, see you guys at the
meeting.

Yours, etc.

And Mah, talking about pictures....don't know how you can say that crap above....do please recall certain celluloid record of Donald Rumsfeld shaking the hand of "The Butcher" - "being friendly towards Saddam Hussein" to quote you Mah. Yes, it was Baghdad '83,'84 - and The Fetid Fellow walked away with orders for heaps of munitions and helicopters....while he knew, 'cos the US Congress had told him....that The Butcher was gassing the Kurds.

I'll bet all Gorgeous George Galloway ever got was a "comp" at the Havana Whatever Hotel and an open drinks tab. Not like Rummy. Billions no doubt sellin' all that death gear to The Butcher, and oil. What "wages" are those....?

So stop being a big, "holier than thou" hypocrite Mah Mah ! If you wanna talk "evil" look at your own heroes Baby !

Don't come around these parts stating how much you "care" about the Iraqis Steve. When you have gone against the removal of that same dictator.

"If you are upset that someone was friendly toward Saddam Hussein while he was living then you should be catatonic with rage that Western governments sold him weapons and chemical agents! But...probably not."

How about the likes of Jacque Chirac for giving Saddam nuclear technology and opposed the Iraq war to remove him? How about Germany's former Prime Minister for also being behind the very same dictator? Let's not forget Putin or Jintao either.

Strange how you are lecturing me on "sidestepping" the question. What about the sort of Palestinian Lebanese based terrorist group-Hezbollah where Galloway supported it?

How about the 68 percent of support from Soviet Russia to Saddam Hussein during the Iran-Iraq War or is that photo of Rumsfeld just the "sole proof" of U.S. support?

Except that it's complete bullshit. Saddam got the bulk of his weapons and equpment from the Soviets. Iraq was basically a Soviet client state.

Nice to see you back facist-guy Steve. still up to your bullshit I see.

How about the 68 percent of arms from Soviet Russia heading to Iraq during the Iran-Iraq War? Or does that not count? Last time I checked, that's the amount of weaponry the Soviets gave to Saddam.

The U.S., only a small percent of equipment was sent to Iraq.

Why don't you fuck off yourself anon.Do not presume to tell me where I can or cannnot comment.

Truth is, Saddam got the bulk of his weapons and equipment from the Soviets, and the Warsaw pact countries.

The Wikipedia article you quote (a good summary btw) shows this quite quite clearly.

Trying to get those on the extreme left wing, like you anon to admit this is impossible, such is thier hatred of 'the west' and the US in particular.

Bingo. Straight from the horse's mouth. The West - who pretend to hold the moral high ground - sold arms to a brutal Middle Eastern dictator.

Exocet, you said they did not. I proved that they did. If you can't get your basic facts straight, or comment without so blatantly lying, then you have no place on this, or any other blog. Go away and do your homework.

You mean the 68 percent of Soviet arms to Saddam means nothing to you anonymous?

Here's how much arms the Soviets sent which is always going to be > than whatever arms the U.S. or mere civilian equipment the U.S. sent to Saddam.

Yes the West sold arms to Hussein - so did the USSR, Czechoslovakia and China. Care to damn Moscow, Beijing and Prague for this now?

Just because that happened under other governments doesn't give Galloway moral authority. In other words, just because you made mistakes in the past regarding a tyrant does not justify Galloway continuing to make mistakes in supporting him. Two wrongs do not cancel each other out.

Well yes it does actually give Galloway moral authority - particularly when people like you borderline personalities are lambasting the shit out of him.

Just remember - he was right - your boy the Chickenhawk and President Cheney and the Poodle - they were all wrong. At what horrific cost ?

So forgive them their mistakes if you wanna be unrealisticaly kind, but don't heap the shit on the guy who was right !

Yeah, borderline personaltites. I reckon that's right on the money...

The bullshit is the way the socialists have framed this debate as "racism" against muslims.

What a crock of shit. Islam is not a race, it's a religion. There are black Muslims, brown Muslims, white, Muslims and yellow Muslims.

The principled objection to the widespread establishment of this religion in the West is based on the fact that unlike other religions, Islam is a religion that calls for the domination of all others.

As such, it is incompatible with Western-style plural democracy, in fact downright inimical to it.

According to WorldPublicOpinion.org, more than 50 percent of Muslims polled in Indonesia, and 75 percent of Muslims polled in Egypt, Morocco and Pakistan believe in the strict application of Sharia, or Islamic law. Nearly two-thirds of all respondents expressed their desire to see the Islamic world united in a Muslim Caliphate. With numbers like these, portraying Jihadist war goals (Sharia, Caliphate) as belonging to a "tiny band of extremists" is clearly wildly inaccurate.

We do not need these people here and they should be sent home before they eventually swamp us demographically with their far higher birth rates and impose their agendas on us by sheer weight of numbers.

Oh get the fuck over yourself.

You were going to try the old 'OMG the West armed Saddam LOL' bullshit. I called you on it by stating, that no, it was the Soviet Union and China who supplied the bulk of Saddam's weapons and equipment, and in fact from the Iran-Iraq war on Iraq was basically a Soviet client state.

So you responded in the classical style of the far-left and accused me of what you were trying to do yourself. Hardly suprising really.

Fact is the Iran-Iraq war was a field day for arms suppliers from all over, and no, western companies should not have supplied a brutal thug like Saddam. But at the same time we should not be blind to the fact the the Soviets and China were up to their armpits in this, far more than any western company.

Still anon, I cannot expect you to criticize your beloved Soviet Union. Your kind cannot.

Don't presume to tell me when, where or how I comment or on what blogs. Orwell's 1984 was meant as a warning, not an instruction manual.

If I need to do my homework (and there is always somthing new for me to learn) then you, anon need to get back to school.

Love
