Loudon for Vice President!
Some may be aware I'm standing for the Vice Presidency of the ACT Party. Here is an email I sent yesterday to party members. It sums up what I hope to achieve in the position.
Dear ACT Member
A final quick message to remind those who have not voted that time is
running out, votes must be received by Wednesday 22nd March.
I am also asking for your vote for the ACT Vice-Presidency because I
believe that ACT can help build a freer and more caring New Zealand.
ACT people are independent thinkers, they're givers and all of them
want to work for a better country as I do.
I see my role as your Vice-President in helping to drive the
de-centralisation of ACT.
I want to use the experience I have gained as Board Member for Upper South Region, `and in working with ACT on Campus, to help rebuild Party structures in Provincial `New Zealand and in our cities.
By rebuilding basic structures and systems, sorting out our database
problems, de-centralising financial control and fundraising, building
functioning sectoral policy groups and devolving power away from the
centre in all areas, we can get members contributing their ideas and
talents much more effectively.
People join ACT to contribute. Let us not stand in their way.
I am happy that the rebuilding work I have done so far in the Upper
South Region is beginning to bear fruit and I have worked
constructively with our party's future-"ACT on Campus".
I am a creative thinker with my own strong views, but can relate well
to the huge variety of personalities and ideas that ACT is blessed
with. I believe I can help to de-centralise the "nuts and bolts" of
our party and unify the diverse strands in ACT to achieve the
political influence our ideas deserve.
I ask you to vote for Trevor Loudon as your next Vice President of
ACT.

Current Board Member for Upper South Region

Good luck.... If thay actually got my voting papers to me I could vote...
I so hope you win this.
Once the general voting public see your mug and read your drivel NZ will finally be rid of the failed freakshow called ACT
It's sad when people have nothing better to do of a Saturday night than go online and try to insult people. Best of luck Trevor, you've got my vote.
Thanks for positive comments guys. Would a nose job help, Anonymous?
The best of luck mate.
