Obama File 60 Institute For Policy Studies Plans Obama's America

Obama file 59 here

I urge every person who cares about the freedom of America (and by extension, the Western World) to view the video below. It was filmed just after the US election and covers a seminar organised by the Washington based Institute for Policy Studies (IPS).

It is hard to see the three panellists-John Cavanagh, Steve Cobble and Bill Fletcher Jnr as dangerous people. They are amiable, intelligent and "moderate". These people are not fire breathing, bomb throwing revolutionaries-they are simply very well connected, highly effective "change agents".

The organisation they all represent, the IPS is undoubtedly one of the most subversive organisations in the US.

Founded in 1963, IPS has well documented past ties to the Soviet KGB and Cuban intelligence. It remains strongly supportive of Cuba, Hugo Chavez's Venezuelan revolution and Mexico's Zapatista rebels.

Soviet agent and journalist IF Stone once called IPS "the think tank for the rest of us."

IPS has close ties to the two key organisations behind the Obama movement Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and Communist Party USA (CPUSA).

DSA and IPS were the key founders of the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) the grouping of now more than 80 far left Congressmen which dominates the US House of Representatives. IPS continues to advise CPC.

IPS (as revealed in this video)also founded United for Peace&Justice, the US peace movement umbrella group, led by senior members of DSA, CPUSA and the CPUSA offshoot Committees of Correspondence for Democracy&Socialism (CCDS).

Several IPS members also play leading roles in Movement for a Democratic Society (MDS)-a coalition of senior DSA, CPUSA and CCDS members plus several former leaders of the radical Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and its terrorist splinter Weather Underground, including long time Obama associates Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.

MDS also spawned Progressives for Obama (PFO)-four of the six PFO founders, Barbara Ehrenreich (DSA), Bill Fletcher Jnr (DSA, Freedom Road Socialist Organisation), Tom Hayden (former SDS leader)and Carl Davidson (former SDS and Communist Party Marxist-Leninist, CCDS leader) have been MDS board members. Steve Cobble is an endorser of the PFO website.

Ehrenreich is an IPS trustee, Fletcher is an IPS fellow, while Tom Hayden is a long time IPS affiliate.

Hayden and Cobble are also board members of Progressive Democrats of America, together with several CPC members including Obama supporters John Conyers and Barbara Lee.

It is also worth noting that John Cavanagh, Steve Cobble, Bill Fletcher Jnr, Barbara Ehrenreich and Carl Davidson were, in the early 1990s, all leaders of the DSA/Committees of Correspondence/ACORN front New Party-the organisation Obama joined to gain support for his 1996 Illinois State Senate race.

That's a little of the history.

Here's a glimpse of IPS's vision of the future.

Name the people from this organization who are in the Obama cabinet and who will help promulgate his policies.

Tell us exactly what Constitutional authority any of the people you have named will have in enacting any legislation in the Obama presidency.

Scelous-one who has ties to this set is Hilda Solis, Obama's proposed Sec of Labor.

If you listen carefully to the video you will hear mention of the Congressional Progressive Caucus-84leftist Democrats, many of whom have ties to IPS, DSA and CPUSA.

IPS set up the CPC and continues to "advise" it. That's one third of Congress under IPS influence.

Several IPS connected Congressmen chair important house committees-John conyers being an obvious case in point.

DSA member David Bonior who is serving on Obama's economic transition team, also has IPS ties.

I will elaborate in future posts.
